So we did the vendor thing at the Maya Archers Stickbow Classic yesterday. It went great! First off HUGE thanks to Mike & Lisa Hall who surprised us by bringing us custom hoodies with our Logo on them. Although there was some misunderstanding at first they brought with them an idea and the set up to run a free drawing. Just sign up and and you're in. We're going to keep doing that. Met another vendor and they gave us some GREAT advice on different advertising channels. That will be VERY helpful. Annette and I worked great as a team....

Been wanting to do this for a while. This is a bit about us and building our arm guards. With some pictures, of course!  First off we trace out the main body pieces and the piece that makes up the colored accent bars. Here's Annette doing that part. The pieces are then cut out of the leather. It took a while for us to get some decent scissors for cutting this leather. That part isn't bad. Next though is cutting out the slots so the color shows. Never came in as a vendor though. This will be a first. Annette and I won't be shooting,...

Annette and I went on a little road trip yesterday. We went south down to Santa Rosa CA. Took care of some personal stuff but the big deal was we hit a local Archery Shop. we're friends with the owners. Although our online store is our focus, and building up inventory is taking up a lot of our time, we're also looking to get our products out there through the Archery shops as well.  We did sell some of our products, so that was good. But really, to be perfectly honest the biggest benefit wasn't from the sales. Even if...

Was out practicing the other day, and then this happened: Yep. Robin Hooded an arrow. Sorry about the quality of the photos, but wasn't thinking about trying to make a publicity shot or anything. But once it happened I figured, "What the heck, take the pic."  So, after Aaron's shots, I could throw in that, "Sure enough we have groups too, not just lower drag." I know many have made Robin Hoods, but what I always find funny is our reaction. It's like first, "Yee-Haw!" Then it's "RATS! Another arrow trashed! This isn't cheap!"   What kills me is when I...
